Mothwing: Rejecting Blind Faith

This started out as a Mothwing full-body (and slight redesign) for Blixemi which ended up becoming another one of my book quote comics LOL.

This one is less of a comic / book scene, and more of a mish-mash of my favourite Mothwing quotes (around the OOTS portion, mainly)... Mothwing's been through a lot (med cat canon event)...

Have a comic about my previous PO3 kittypet AU where Potato (Lionpaw), after he joins Thunderclan alongisde his siblings, decides to become a medicine cat after experiencing the killing-heatherpaw-nightmares.

After what happened in the mountains (him unlocking his powers and going ballistic on the invading cats), he fears he won't be able to control his powers and he might hurt someone he loves, so in order to counter that, he decides to change path !

Also in this AU, Jaypaw is a warrior apprentice and he learns to fight in tandem with Hollypaw !

AU where Leaf and Crow DID run away and they started their own small clan called EmberClan (after Firestar, Cinderpelt, and Ashfoot). Here they changed their names (to avoid strangers telling clans cats where they were) to Featherstar and Moonleaf. They have the three here, still Holly, Lion, Jay. However instead of lying about their parentage, they neglect to tell them about the other clans, which there is still a prophecy about them saving and also that they have kin in. Feather and Moon don't want their former clanmates to hurt or separate any of them, so they forbid their kits from leaving EmberClan's territory. Until eventually they manage to and get pissed that their parents kept the other clans a secret.

ok maybe there's something wrong with me but can I just say im very obsessed with the use of foxes in hollyleaf and leafpools stories. leafpool finding comfort in finding the fox that just almost killed her and her sister curled around its babies, keeping them close to her even in her sleep. remaining their mother as blood seeps from her wounds. and despite everything, all leaf takes note of is the warmth emanating from the den, not the imminent danger or threat on their lives. Conversely, holly also finds comfort in foxes, in the kit she takes in and is almost killed by in the snow. The thing doesn't recognize her as any figure in its life, just like she refuses to acknowledge leaf as her own mother, and would rather kill her to keep the order of things.

They're the same but different, parallel and never intersecting. I heart them forever :3
